Reacting To Racial Profiling
If you believe you have been the victim of racial profiling,
you should:
- Remain calm.
- Ask to speak to a supervisor.
- Document the incident.
Write down the names and ID numbers of those involved. Document exactly
what was said and/or done. Save evidence.
- Ask witnesses to give you their name and contact
information.
- Report the incident to CAIR-CAN.
To file an
incident report with CAIR-CAN, you can do
so online or send it to us at the address below with the words
"Racial Profiling incident" in the subject line. Please submit
it with supporting documents (such as police reports,
etc.) to:
